Refining

Refining is an essential process for a complete oil pressing line because there are still some impurities such as phospholipids, FFA, pigment, odor,etc. in the crude oil. Canola Edible Oil Refining Equipment

1. Decoloring tank: bleach pigments from oil.

2. Deodorizing tank: remove the un-favored smell from decolorized oil.
3. Oil furnace: provide enough heat for the refining sections which need high temperature of 280°C. 4. Vacuum pump: provide high pressure for bleaching, deodorization which can reach 755mmHg or more.
5. Air compressor: dry the bleached clay after bleaching.

6. Filter press: filter the clay into the bleached oil.

7. Steam generator: generate steam distillation.

Edible Oil Refining Process – Degumming

Hydration Degumming: Hydration degumming mean adding into some hot water and controlling the corresponding conditions to make the hydrosol agglomerated, deposited and then separate them. The separated gum(after being dried) can be made into lecithin or added into cakes or mealsin the extraction workshop. Hydration degumming process can improve oil edibility, storage and do good to downstream neutralization section. Special Degumming: The technology is specially developed to meet the demands of physical refining for edible / vegetable oil refining. Add small quantity to acid or dilute base to the vegetable oil, strictly control the corresponding onconditions to separate out the hydrated gum and unhydrated gum. Gum level in oil should be controlled to suitable for downstream processing.

Canola Edible Oil Refining Process – Bleaching

High activity clay is added into oil. Mix and heat mixture of oil and clay to make the small particleof pigment absorbed on the crystal of clay. At last filter the oil.
