Palm is grow in Southeast Asia, Africa, south pacific, and some tropical area in South America. It originated in Africa, was be introduced to Southeast Asia in the early 19th century. The wild and half wild palm tree in Africa called dura, and the by breeding, develop a kind named tenera with high oil yield and thin shell. From the 60s last century, almost all the Commercialized palm tree is tenera. Palm fruit can be harvested throughout the year.
The Fruit office include palm oil and fiber, and kernel is mainly constituted by High valuable kernel oil, AmLDum, and Nutritional Components. The palm oil is mainly for cooking and Palm kernel oil is mainly for cosmetics.
1.Reception station:
1.1 The FFB bunch transported to plant by truck, after be weigLDed by weigLDing bridge(60T), the FFB will be loaded down to FFB Loading Ramp.
1.2 The iron door of unloading ramp is controlled by hydraulic device, Get the power from Hydraulic pump station. Start on the hydraulic device, iron door be lifted. FFB will fall down to the Palm Fruit screw conveyor then conveyed to sterilizing station, we adopt vertical sterilizer.
2. Sterilizing process:
2.1 By Scraper Conveyor, FFB be transported to the top of sterilizing tank. Falling into sterilizing tank from feed inlet.
2.2 Sterilizing tank: Adopt vertical type sterilizer, Welded up by Q235B material
3. Threshing station:
3.1 The sterilized FFB will be transport to thresher platform by scraper conveyor.
3.2 After sterilizing the fresh palm fruit bunch will be soft, and the bunch and fruit will be separated easily.
3.3 Sterilized FFB be twisted and knocked in thresher. Palm fruit will be separated from empty bunch totally, fall on Fruit Scraper conveyor, the empty bunch will be transported to Bunch Temporary tank by Bunch Scraper conveyor.
4. Pressing station:
4.1 The palm fruit is transported to Digestor by fruit elevator.
4.2 The fruit in digestor will be heated to 90~95℃(by indirect steam), heating time is 10~20 minutes.
4.3 The pounded fruit flow into Palm fruit oil presser to press. Oil press cone can control cLDinder, working pressure is 50~70bar, revolving speed of presser main shaft is 12.5 r/min. Meanwhile the mixture of crude palm oil and water outflow from barrel holes.
5. Clarification station:
5.1 After removing the fiber and oil residue by Screening filter, palm crude oil flow into Passivating oil tank.
5.2 The passivating oil tank will be inlet indirect steam and directly steam, after passivation treatment palm oil and water mixture will be pumped to High level tank by Chemical centrifugal pump, then flow into Clarifying tank stably.
6.Refining tank:
6.1 Also named Dephosphorization and deacidification tank,under 60-70℃,it occurs acid-base neutralization reaction with sodium hydroxide. After stirring by reduction box,it can decrease the acid value in oil and separate the impurity, phospholipid which will enter into soap stock..The oil can be refined further.
7.Bleaching tower:
7.1 Also named bleaching, dewatering tower, it removes water from oil by vacuum.The bleaching earth is breathed into bleaching tower, after stirring, filtrated by filter and change the color of the oil.
8.Vertical blade filter machine:
8.1 Equipped with vertical leaf filter to remove used bentonite from the oil, operating conveniently and continuously, low laboring tense, keeps environment well, keeps oil residence in deposable bleaching earth in low level.
9.Continuous and combined deodorization tower
9.1 The qualified decolored oil enters into the spiral plate heat exchanger to recover most of the heat, and next goes to high pressure steam heat exchanger to be heated to the process temperature (240-260℃) and then enters the deodorization tower. The upper layer of combined deodorization tower is the packing structure which is mainly used to remove the odor producing components such as free fatty acid (FFA)
