Deacidification:

This deacidification method without alkali, but by steam distillation at high temperature and high vacuum with different relative volatility of triglycerides and free fatty acids.Free fatty acids and low molecular substances discharge out together with the steam. This method is suitable for high acid value oil.

Bleaching:

In industrial production, adsorption bleaching is most widely used. Add surface-active substance with certain adsorption into the oil,pigments and other impurities are absorbed under certain conditions. The adsorbent and impurities are removed by filtration , to achieve the purpose of oil bleaching process.

Deodorization:

Vacuum steam deodorization method is the most widely applied at home and abroad. Dewaxing:

The presence of wax makes the oil appear cloudy at room temperature. Separation of waxes, esters of long chain fatty acids and long chain primary alcohols present in mainly sunflower and maize oil.Dewaxing is carried out by chilling the oil up to 10-15°C followed by filtration of precipitated solids. The oil thus treated gives a sparkling appearance even in winter temperatures.
